What to expect at your Spravato in-office visit
-
Brief check-in and vitals → self-administer SPRAVATO® under supervision → quiet recovery with monitoring for 2 hours in a comfortable recliner with optional eye mask, blanket, and gentle music.
-
Please plan to arrange for a ride home.
Adverse effects
Most side effects from Spravato occur during or shortly after treatment (such as dissociation, sedation, dizziness, nausea, respiratory depression, and temporary increases in blood pressure), which is why patients are monitored in-office for at least two hours. For most patients, side effects are temporary and resolve the same day. Long-term or persistent side effects are uncommon, and we monitor for safety throughout treatment.
