A New Path Forward
Precise treatment for complex depression
SPRAVATO® (esketamine) at Mercury Mental Health
SPRAVATO® is an FDA-approved nasal spray for adults with treatment-resistant depression. It is often covered by insurance (with prior authorization).
How is SPRAVATO® different from ketamine?
Ketamine contains two forms of molecules (S and R). SPRAVATO® is esketamine, which contains the S form. Esketamine can help people who have not responded well to standard antidepressants.

This treatment may be a good fit for:
-
Adults who have not experienced sufficient improvement after at least two trials of different antidepressants.
-
Those who want to avoid the typical side effects of standard antidepressants.
-
Adults who struggle with treatment-resistant depression. SPRAVATO® (esketamine) works differently than standard antidepressants and may help some people within hours to days.
Please note: Eligibility will be determined during your initial appointment.
